# Create another organization

> One organization per client or per business: you can create up to three, from the Organizations page or the project menu. The trial is offered only once, with the first one.

Updated 2026-09-29

An organization holds its projects, its members, its plan and its Sparks. An agency working with several clients, or someone running two businesses, can keep several, each one fully separate.

## Where to create it

Two paths lead to the same dialog, **New organization**:

- the **project menu**, the card at the top of the sidebar: **Switch organization** › **New organization**;
- the **Organizations** page (**Switch organization** › **All organizations**): the **New organization** button, at the top of the page.

1. **Name it**

   “Organization name”, up to 80 characters. You can change the name later in its settings.

2. **Read what it gets**

   The dialog tells you whether the trial comes with it (see below) and counts your organizations: “Organizations you’ve created · 1 of 3”.

3. **Create it**

   “Create organization”. You are its admin, and you land on its projects: invite its team, then create its first project.

## Three at most

An account can create **three organizations** at most. What counts:

- **archived** organizations count: archiving doesn’t free up a spot;
- a **deleted** organization no longer counts: its spot frees up;
- an organization you **joined through an invitation** doesn’t count, whatever your role;
- an organization the joli.studio team created for you doesn’t count either.

At three, the field and the button are disabled, and the dialog offers “Write to us for one more organization”: an email to [bonjour@joli.studio](mailto:bonjour@joli.studio), with the subject already filled in. The joli.studio team then creates the organization and invites you as its admin: all that’s left is to accept the invitation (see [Invite a member](/en/guide/invite-a-member/)).

## The trial, once per person

The ✦ 300 trial Sparks are offered **only once per person**, with the first organization you create, usually at sign-up, and granted once your address is confirmed. The dialog says so: “300 free trial Sparks”, “Your first organization. The trial is only offered once.”

The next ones start **without a trial**, on the free plan, with 0 Sparks. The dialog says that too: “Your organization starts on Free, with 0 Sparks: AI opens up with a plan or a top-up.” The **See plans** link leads to the pricing page. Without Sparks, AI actions are refused there; everything you do by hand stays open.

> **If you joined an organization before creating one**
>
> An account created through an invitation hasn’t received the trial yet: it gets it with the first organization it creates itself. Deleting your organizations, on the other hand, doesn’t give it back: the account remembers that it received it.

Until online payment opens, a further organization gets a plan or Sparks from the team: write to [bonjour@joli.studio](mailto:bonjour@joli.studio). The details are in [Top up or change plan](/en/guide/top-up-or-change-plan/).

## Moving between them

**Switch organization**, in the project menu, lists your other active organizations and the invitations you’ve received; the **Organizations** page shows them all, with your role and their number of projects. Each one keeps its own plan, members and balance: an organization’s Sparks never move to another one. **My account** lists all your memberships and your role in each.
